Garden City man arrested for child sex crimes

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)– Garden City Police have arrested a man for sex crimes
reported to have occurred involving three juvenile victims known to him.

According to the release from the Garden City Police Department, 37-year-old Jose Angulo faces numerous charges from the investigation.

On March 22, Officers received a report of child sexual assault and began an investigation.
Through the investigation, it was learned that Angulo allegedly sexually assaulted two
juvenile victims and attempted to sexually assault another juvenile victim over the course
of several years.

On Wednesday, Angulo was arrested at his residence. Angulo was lodged in the Finney
County Jail on multiple counts of Rape, multiple counts of Aggravated Indecent Liberties
with a Child, multiple counts of Aggravated Criminal Sodomy, and Attempted Aggravated
Indecent Liberties with a Child.

This is an ongoing investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
