Garden City man arrested on attempted murder and aggravated battery charges
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Garden City man was arrested on multiple charges resulting from a domestic violence report.
On Tuesday, April 2, Finney County Sheriff’s Office deputies were requested to meet with a Finney County woman who had injuries from an altercation with her boyfriend the day prior. Upon arrival, Deputies found the woman to have significant injuries and medical care was requested. Deputies learned that the incident had occurred over multiple days which involved the woman being shot at with a gun, battered, held against her will and raped.
The suspect was identified as 34-year-old Kyle Deger of Garden City. Deger was located, arrested and lodged in the Finney County Jail with the Finney County Sheriff’s Office requesting the following charges of Attempted Murder in the 1st Degree (Domestic Violence), Aggravated Battery (Domestic Violence), Rape, Aggravated Kidnapping (Domestic Violence), Aggravated Endangering a Child, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
