Improvements at U.S. 54/283 intersection underway in Minneola
Minneola, Kan.–The Kansas Department of Transportation has begun an intersection improvement project at the U.S. 54/283 intersection in Minneola.
The U.S. 54/283 intersection will be surfaced with concrete pavement and will improve traffic flow. U.S. 54 traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at the intersection. All lanes within the work zone area on U.S. 54 and U.S. 283 will be restricted to 12 feet. Access to all businesses within the work area will be maintained throughout the duration of the project. Motorists should expect minor delays of up to 5-10 minutes.
