Garden City man arrested after aggravated battery investigation

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Garden City Police Department arrested a man on Monday following an aggravated battery investigation.

According to the release from GCPD, 35-year-0ld Jarred Myran faces multiple charges from the incident.
 
Just after 11:30 pm on Sunday night, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Thompson Street for an aggravated assault that just occurred. The investigation revealed that Myran went to a residence to confront an individual over a conflict, but the individual was not there. When the individual arrived home, Myran rammed his vehicle into the individual’s vehicle while they were in it and made several threats before fleeing the scene.
 
On Monday, Myran was located and taken into custody without incident. During the arrest, Officers located suspected counterfeit oxycodone pills mixed with fentanyl and methamphetamine on Myran.
Myran was lodged in the Finney County Jail for Aggravated Battery, Criminal Threat, Criminal Damage, Possession of Stimulant, and Possession of Opiate.
