GARDEN CITY, Kan. – The Broncbusters held a pivotal two-game home stand to open up February, with Garden City taking three of the four games.

The Garden City Community College Coaches Show returned from Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom on Thursday night. It was a stacked episode of basketball.

The Lady Broncbusters snapped its eight-game losing streak last Saturday, beating both Cloud County and Cowley within the last week. Head coach Greg Franklin opened the show, talking about his team’s process throughout 2024.

Guard Brody Robinson was named as the men’s conference player of the week on Wednesday. Robinson joined to talk about his bond with his teammates and some of his favorite tastes off the court.

Freshman Isaiah Dixon earned his first career start in the Broncbusters’ win over Cloud County. Dixon closed the show talking about his journey from Texas to Kansas, including his first season in the NJCAA.

Thank you to Coach Franklin, as well as student athletes Robinson and Dixon, for joining the show. A special thank you goes to Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom for their special hospitality.

The Garden City Community College Coaches Show airs Thursday nights from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 on 99.9 ‘The Rock’.
