Resurfacing project to begin on K-25 in Leoti
Wichita County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Traffic changes are scheduled to start Feb. 12 along K-25, from north of the K-25/K-96 junction to north of I Street in Leoti.
This project will include replacing the concrete panels in the driving lanes on K-25. Motorists should be aware the speed limit will be reduced, and there will be no parking allowed in the work zone as traffic will be shifted to the outside edges of the roadway. A width restriction of 11 feet will be in place. Signs and cones will mark the lane switch.
Morgan Brothers Construction. Inc., from Lacrosse, is the contractor on this $472,692.02 project, which is expected to be completed by the end of March, weather permitting.
