Single vehicle accident in Finney County Sunday night

Finney County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Scott City woman was involved Sunday night in a single vehicle accident around 9:30 pm.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2002 GMC Yukon driven by 40-year-old Julie R. Edwards of Scott City, was northbound at 9835 U.S. Highway 83, when she left the roadway to the right, and kept going northbound in the ditch. She would come back on to the roadway and then left the road to the left, coming to a stop in a field facing the east.

Edwards was taken to St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City by EMS, and was properly restrained.
