Investigation of rape leads to arrest of Garden City man
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Garden City man was arrested on Tuesday following a rape investigation.
According to the release from the Garden City Police Department, 24-year-old William Lopez-Guerra, faces several charges from the incident.
On Tuesday, Officers of the Garden City Police Department were dispatched to the west part of Garden City, where they met with a woman who alleged that an altercation took place between her and Lopez-Guerra, who was known to her. The investigation revealed that Lopez-Guerra went to the woman’s residence and broke her cell phone and sexually assaulted her before leaving the scene.
Lopez-Guerra was later located and taken into custody and was lodged in the Finney County Jail for Rape and Criminal Damage.
