Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–One of the most dominant pitchers in the circle in western Kansas has made her decision on where she will be taking her talents.

After visiting several colleges, Scott City pitcher Cheyenne Cramer will be heading to Parsons, as she made it official by signing her letter of intent to play at Labette Community College.

Cramer has been a force in the circle for the Lady Beaver program. Not only has she been a three-time All-GWAC pitcher, but has led Scott City to two straight state tournaments, the only two in the program’s history. Cramer recorded strikeout number 500 in the regional semi-finals last year, and has helped the Lady Beavers to a 56-13 record over her three years, with three regional finals appearances, two GWAC titles. She was also second team all-state her freshman campaign, and first team all-state her sophomore and junior seasons in Class 3A.

During the summer and fall, Cramer played with the Kansas Heat softball team.

She chose Labette over Nothern Oklahoma-Tonkawa, Colby, Indepedence and Eastern Oklahoma College. Her major will be in elementary special education.
