Phase 1B of Downtown Streetscape project begins Wednesday in Dodge City
Dodge City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The City of Dodge City announced on Tuesday the newest phase of the Downtown Streetscape project will start on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, Building Solutions will close the remaining section of Central Avenue up to Wyatt Earp Boulevard, as well as a segment of Gunsmoke Street between 1st Avenue and Central Avenue, as shown on the map below. This closure marks the beginning of Phase 1B of the Downtown Streetscape project, which is slated for completion in Summer 2024, weather and other conditions permitting,
As you navigate through the construction zones, remain vigilant for construction equipment, unsettled soil, new concrete, and wet sealant. Stay mindful of your surroundings to ensure personal safety and the well-being of others.
