Two men arrested on drug charges in Garden City
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On Monday, Garden City Police Officers arrested two men on drug charges, following a traffic stop.
According to the release, 36-year old Joseph Vela and 23-year-old Francisco Garcia face charges from the investigation.
Just before 4 pm on Monday, Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of N. 8th Street and made contact with Vela and Garcia. After further investigation, a search of the vehicle was conducted, where Officers located suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Vela and Garcia were arrested at the scene.
Vela and Garcia were lodged in the Finney County Jail for Felony Possession with Intent to Distribute Stimulants and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
