GARDEN CITY, KS. – Playoff time is here for fall sports, with big matchups coming up all week for the Garden City Buffaloes.

Buff Talk returned live from Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom Monday night to preview state substate action and football’s final regular season game.

Volleyball head coach Trista Bailey led off the show, discussing her team’s 23-13 season. The Buffaloes will host substate playoffs this weekend for the first time since 2018.

Football is coming off a massive Hatchet Game victory against Dodge City. Senior Andrew Moreno joined the show to talk about who he shared the victory with.

It was a game defined on special teams, with the Buffaloes forcing two DCHS turnovers on punts. Assistant coach Chet Skinner closed the show talking about GCHS’ growth this season and a look ahead to Friday’s matchup with Great Bend.
