Johnson man accused of shooting that injured two
Stanton County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Stanton County Sheriff’s Department are investigating a shooting that occurred in Johnson.
Just before 11 pm Monday night, Stanton County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 100 block of North Elm Street in Johnson for a reported shooting. When deputies arrived they located two individuals suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The individuals were transported to the Stanton County Hospital by Stanton County EMS. Both are in stable condition.
Later Monday night, the suspect, Quinton Seely of Johnson, was arrested without incident just before 11:30 pm in the 400 block of South Lake.
Seely is currently in custody awaiting formal charges.
