Buff Talk, 9/25
GARDEN CITY, KS. – Buff Talk returned for another show at Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom on Monday night, including two teams that have done plenty of winning recently at Garden City High School.
The show started with volleyball head coach Trista Bailey and Kamdyn Carr talking their team’s current eight-game winning streak. Coach Bailey mentioned where she was proud of where this team has taken strides, and Carr discussed the chemistry she’s had with the other seniors on the court.
Buffaloes football has won their last three games, including a come-from-behind overtime win, 24-21, over Hays on the road. Football head coach Brian Hill joined to talk about his team’s preparation going into that game and what he saw in the final five minutes on the sidelines.
Finally, a pair of Brayden’s joined in from Buffaloes football. Wide receiver Brayden Sneath described his chemistry with quarterback, Ethan Gomez, who he has been playing with since age five. Safety Brayden Dibble outlined the differences about Garden City after his transfer.
Special thank you to Old Chicago for their hospitality, and to coaches Bailey and Hill, as well as Kamdyn Carr, Brayden Sneath, and Brayden Dibble for coming on the show. Buff Talk airs every Monday night from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. on KWKR 99.9 ‘The Rock’.
