KSHSAA approves additional baseball and softball games to schedule
Topeka, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Kansas State High School Activities Association Board of Directors approved a proposal to increase the number of games for baseball and softball that will be effective immediately. This was approved at their first meeting of the season on Wednesday.
This was the second time the proposal was up for a vote, but this time it included softball. The board would vote in favor by a 42-17 margin for baseball and 48-11 in softball, to increase the maximum number of games from 20 to 26 in a season, according to KSHSAA Covered’s Brent Maycock.
