GARDEN CITY, KS. – The Garden City Community College Coaches Show restarted this Thursday live from Old Chicago Pizza and Taproom.

Volleyball head coach Patrick Hiltz joined the show live from soaking in Garden City High School’s volleyball tri match against Great Bend to talk about the volleyball culture in the area and his team’s 6-4 start to the season.

Soon after, football head coach Tom Minnick joined to talk about his team’s week one victory over then-No. 12 Butler. Coach Minnick praised his team’s ability to make changes throughout their 27-22 win, and their buy-in to the team’s culture and philosophies throughout camp.

The Broncbusters rushed for over 200 yards in the win behind some great play from their new-look offensive line. New offensive line coach Rafe Maughan joined the show to talk about his experience in JUCO football at Snow College and how his coaching experience with the Broncbusters has gone so far.

Special thank you’s go to all three coaches who joined the show and talked about their inside look at Broncbusters Athletics, as well as to Old Chicago for their great hospitality. The Garden City Community College Coaches Show airs live every Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. on KWKR 99.9 “The Rock”.
