Two killed in single vehicle accident in Ford County
Ford County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Two Spearville men were killed early Friday morning in a single vehicle accident in Ford County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, a 2001 Ford F350 driven by 21-year-old Chaten Patrick Tasset of Spearville was southbound on 126th road, about one mile south of Jewell Road, when he entered the east ditch, re-entered the roadway, entered the west ditch, and rolled. The vehicle came to rest on its top.
Tasset and passenger, 19-year-old Hadley Garrett Fisher of Spearville, died in the accident. They were not wearing seatbelts, according to the KHP report.
Another passenger, 20-year-old Isaac Juan Melendez of Spearville, was taken to St. Cathernine’s Hospital for suspected serious injuries. He was wearing a seatbelt.
The accident occurred around 2 am.
