Two in Scott City arrested after disturbance call
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Two Scott City residents were arrested late Monday afternoon after officers were dispatched for a disturbance call in Scott City.
Just after 6 pm on Monday, the Scott City Police Department and Scott County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 1000 block of south Washington for a disturbance.
As a result of this investigation two arrests were made for Aggravated Domestic Battery. Thirty-three year-old Sesar Armando Ruiz Ortiz, and 25-year-old Yessica Ruiz, both of Scott City, were arrested and transported to the Scott County Jail.
The case has been referred to the Scott County Attorney for prosecution.
