Update: suspects in aggravated robbery in custody
Garden City, Kan. (westernkasnasnews.com)–An update on an aggravated robbery from early Wednesday morning.
An update just before 11 am from the Garden City Police Department states that the suspects have been identified and are in custody. They thank the public for assistance in helping identify the individuals.
The Garden City Police Department requests assistance from the community in identifying two suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery early Wednesday morning.
Around 3:00 a.m., two male subjects entered the Corner Market, located at 2522 North Taylor Avenue. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at an employee, while the other suspect shattered the Vape Pen display case and stole approximately 60 vape pens and placed them into a backpack. The suspects fled the scene from the west door entrance.
The suspect with the handgun was wearing a red/black t-shirt, black pants, orange Crocs, and a blue balaclava face mask, and appears to be a white male.
The suspect who stole the vape pens was wearing a black hoodie, white/black/gray striped shorts, white Crocs, and a gray backpack. The suspect appears to be a white or Hispanic male.
