Garden City man arrested after narcotics trafficking investigation

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Garden City man was arrested Wednesday as part of an ongoing narcotics trafficking investigation.

According to the release from the Garden City Police Department, 42-year-old Jessie Trujillo faces numerous charges stemming from multiple investigations.
 
On Wednesday, the Garden City/Finney County Joint Drug Task Force served a search warrant at Trujillo’s residence at 310 N. 11th Street. During the service of the search warrant, Trujillo was arrested for an active felony warrant.
Inside the residence, items were seized as evidence, which included 2.4 pounds of methamphetamine, one gram of cocaine, eight THC gummies, items indicative of the distribution and consumption of illegal narcotics, one stolen firearm and additional stolen property.
 
Trujillo was lodged in the Finney County Jail on the following charges of Unlawful Acts Involving Derived from the Sale of Controlled Substances, Possession with the Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine Within 1000 Feet of a School, Possession of Cocaine. Possession of Marijuana, Felony Possession of Paraphernalia, Misdameanor Possession of Paraphernalia, three counts of Aggravated Endangerment of a Child, Felony Theft – Possession of Stolen Property, and Criminal Use of Weapons.
