Scott City tennis 2nd at Ellsworth

Ellsworth, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Playing in their toughest meet of the year on Thursday, the Scott City tennis team made the trip to Ellsworth for the Ellsworth Invitational. Facing some of the top returning players from last season in Class 3-2-1A, the Beavers finished second as a team in the eight-team field.

Wichita Classical would win the meet with 65 points, while Scott City was second with 59 and Central Plains was third with 49 points.

The No. 2 Doubles team of Dylan Duff/Dante Franco would win their division, while the No. 1 Doubles team of Avry Noll/Sage Stoecklein took second, as did Ayden Presson at No. 2 Singles. At No. 1 Singles, Houston Frank placed third.
