Garden City teen injured in Liberal accident

Liberal, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Garden City teenager was injured early Sunday morning in southeast Liberal.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Report, a 2003 Toyota Solara driven by 17-year-old Luis A Molina of Garden City was fleeing from a traffic stop with the Seward County Sheriff’s Department, when he struck a legally parked 2009 GMC Canyon pickup. Debris from the Toyota car and GMC pickup would strike a legally parked 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe. 

Molina was taken to Southwest Medical in Liberal for suspected serious injuries. There were two additional juvenile occupants present in the vehicle. Their identities are protected, according to the KHP.
