Scott City’s Harris signs with Garden City CC
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–JP Harris plays his summer baseball with the Finney County Blues. Creating a bond with his future coach made his decision on where to compete at at the next level.
On Thursday, Harris made it official by signing his letter of intent to play for Garden City Community College.
The future Broncbuster has played several positions over the last few years in Scott City. As a junior for the Beavers, Harris was 6-3 on the mound with one save, and had an ERA of 3.28. At the plate, he hit three home runs and drove in 28 runs while batting .509. He was also a First Team All-GWAC selection and received state recognition..
Harris will play for Caleb Cox at Garden City CC, and will study in the pre-health occupation field.
