Garden City’s Caleb Wiese signs with FHSU and joins Sunflower State Centered Class

Garden City, KS  (WesternKansasNews.com) – If you have followed the Buffaloes at any point in the last 4 years you have probably seen Caleb Wiese compete, the three-sport athlete played football, basketball, and baseball at Garden City.

On Wednesday Wiese made his next step official signing to play football for Fort Hays State University next season and will turn in the brown and white for the black and gold. 

Some of Wiese’s achievements include a 3-time first-team all-WAC selection on the Gridiron and 10th all-time in Garden City history in tackles and a 4-year starter on the hardwood averaging 14.6 points and 6 rebounds. 

Wiese will join a 2023 signing class that is heavily centered around in-state talent for the Tigers.
