Teenager airlifted to Colorado after Christmas morning shooting
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Garden City Police Department is looking for the public’s help in a shooting that occurred in the early hours on Christmas day.
On December 25 at around 4:25 a.m., police responded to St. Catherine Hospital for a report of a gunshot wound victim.
An investigation by the Garden City Police Department revealed that the victim, a 16-year-old male, was at a party in the 600 block of N. 8th Street when he was shot.
The victim was later flown to Colorado due to the extent of his injuries.
The investigation is continuing.
