Johnson City woman dies in Stanton County accident

Stanton County, Kan.–A Johnson City woman was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle accident. 

The accident occurred at the intersection of Kansas Highway 27 and U.S. Highway 160, on the northwest side of the Johnson City limits.

According to the report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2007 Peterbilt semi driven by 28-year old Abram Froesse Boschman of Logan New Mexico, struck a southbound 2004 Chevy 2500 driven by 46-year old Gladis A. Antillon Garcia of Johnson City, as she was turning east. 

Antillon Garcia was pronounced deceased and was transported to Garnand Funeral home. Boschman was taken to Stanton County Hospital for injuries. Neither driver involved were not wearing a seatbelt, according to the report
