Hugoton’s Vos headed to play basketball at Florida Southern

Hugoton, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Playing in the summer AAU circuit can take you many places across the country. Gianna Vos was in Orlando for a tournament and enjoyed Florida.

On Friday Vos made it official that she will be taking her talents to Florida Southern University in Lakeland, signing her letter of intent to play for the Lady Mocs.

Vos is a three-year starter for the Eagles heading into her senior season. During her junior campaign, she averaged 13.5 points, 2.2 assists and 2.2 steals on a team that finished as the Class 3A State Runner-up. Vos has hit 88 career three’s, and has helped Hugoton to a 61-11 record.

At Florida Southern, Vos is undecided at this time, but is leaning toward psychology or criminal justice field.
