Cimarron’s Miller signs LOI with Creighton

Cimarron, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Going from being a Cimarron Bluejay to a Creighton Bluejay, McKayla Miller made it official on Thursday, signing her letter of intent to play basketball at Big East member Creighton University in Omaha.

The 6-1 senior has been a three-year starter for the Lady Bluejays, who have won 47 games over the past three seasons, with two sub-state finals appearances. Her junior year saw her eclipse the 1,000-point mark, and averaged 18 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals per contests.

Miller is a two-time first team GWAC selection, and has earned all-state honors from the Wichita Eagle and Sports In Kansas.

She is currently undecided on her major, but is looking into medical field or coaching.
