Scott City girls golf working to take next step

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)– The Scott City Lady Beaver golf program reached new heights in 2021 by qualifying two golfers for the Class 4A State Golf meet. They also came just one stroke short of qualifying as a team.

One of the two state qualifiers returns from last year in Emma Wheeler.

While Scott City will have to fill three spots on the varsity this year, they will have plenty of competition to fill those positions. Around 13 golfers make up this year’s team.

The Lady Beavers will begin their season in Hugoton September 1.
