Southwest Kansas man killed in rollover accident
KIOWA, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – One man is dead following a single vehicle flip this weekend. The Kansas Highway Patrol says the crash happened Saturday around 6:30 P.M. on 33rd Ave or 5.2 miles north of the U-54.
The online crash report stated that a Toyota Tundra driven by Gage Hosheit, 29, was southbound on 33rd Ave when, for an unknown reason, it drove off the right side of the roadway. The truck re-entered the roadway, went across both lanes of traffic, and rolled before coming to a stop.
The driver was taken to Kiowa County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg where he later succumbed to his injuries. The KHP says Gage was not wearing a seatbelt.
