Well child clinic to be held in Liberal

Liberal, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – Genesis Family Health along with a number of partners will be holding a well-child check-up clinic on Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Genesis Family Health located at 2330 N. Kansas Ave. in Liberal. The event will include food, fun activities for the kids plus routine physicals, pediatric and teen immunizations, COVID-19 vaccinations, high blood pressure, diabetes, nutrition and cancer screenings, and referrals to additional services as needed.

“Many children and teenagers got behind on their immunizations and check-ups due to COVID-19. This event will help those children and teenagers get back on track and stay healthy. In addition, anyone that gets the well-child check-up, will also get their sports physical completed for Fall”, said Geovannie Gone, Chief Administrative Officer with Genesis Family Health.

Families participating in the event should bring their insurance card or proof of income if they do not have insurance, any forms that need to be filled out for the school, their vaccination/immunization card, and parent identification. No appointment is needed. Families may walk-in throughout event.

Food will be provided by National Beef to the first 300 people and the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center, Lucena’s Party Attractions and Celebration Nation will be on hand to provide activities for the kids
