Garden City Well Child Clinics to be held July 12-14 at USD 457 enrollment

Garden City, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – Genesis Family Health will be holding well-child check-up clinics during USD 457 enrollment on July 12, 13, and 14 at Horace Good Middle School at 1412 N. Main Street in Garden City. The event will include routine physicals, pediatric and teen immunizations, COVID-19 vaccinations, dental screenings, and referrals to additional services as needed.

“Many children and teenagers got behind on their immunizations and check-ups due to COVID-19. We want to help those children and teenagers get back on track and stay healthy. In addition, anyone that gets the well-child check-up, will also get their sports physical completed for Fall”, said Geovannie Gone, Chief Administrative Officer with Genesis Family Health.

The hours of operation for the Well-Child clinics will follow the USD 457 Early Enrollment hours and are:

July 12, 12 – 7 p.m.

July 13, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

July 14, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Parents or caregivers of students participating in the event should bring their insurance card or proof of income if they do not have insurance, any forms that need to be filled out for the school, their vaccination/immunization card, and parent identification. No appointment is needed. Families may walk-in throughout event.

Gone added, “We are so exited to partner with USD 457 to help our students stay healthy and well this school year and we hope our students and families will take advantage of this opportunity”. Gone added that Genesis Family Health also offer a Well-Child Check-Up clinic on Saturday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the YMCA Dome at 1706 E. Mary in Garden City for families that are not able to attend early enrollment or who do not attend Garden City Public Schools.
