Man Arrested in Connection to May 10th Shooting

Garden City, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – On May 10, 2022, Officers of the Garden City Police Department responded to a shooting in the 1400 block of A Street. Upon arrival, Officers located two individuals with gunshot wounds. The individuals were transported to St. Catherine Hospital for treatment.

Shooting in Garden City leaves two injured

On June 17, 2022, Jalen Paxson (20), Garden City, KS, was arrested in connection with the incident. Paxson was lodged in the Finney County Jail on charges of Attempted First-Degree Murder (x2), Criminal Discharge of a Firearm, and Criminal Possession of a Firearm. The case has been forwarded to the Finney County Attorney’s Office for further review.
