$20K on the line for local/regional drivers in Innagural Fast Cars and Freedom 40

Garden City, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – Airport Raceway in Garden City is back again on the fourth of July weekend for its inaugural Fast Cars and Freedom 40. The 3-day event showcases the NOW600 Winged, Restricted, and Wingless Micro Sprints in a dash for over 20,000 in purse money.

Drivers from near and afar will make the trip to the 1/6 mile dirt oval as Ace Moore, a Dodge City native currently leads the track standings in the A-Class Division. Pre-Race entries already show drivers from Texas, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Missouri, and even California.

 

The action starts Friday, July 1st with an open practice for teams. Fans will also be allowed free admission that night with a 7:30 PM start time. Saturday and Sunday, gates will open at 5:30 PM and will cost $15 for general admission. Kids 8 and under are free. Pit passes will be $30 each night.
