All-GWAC softball selections released

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Great West Activities Conference late last week announced their selections for all-league softball.

Holcomb had the most selections with eight, including seven on the first team. Cimarron had seven selections overall and Scott City had six, with five on the first team. Hugoton had five selections, Colby and Goodland had four each, and Ulysses had three selections.

Scott City won the GWAC title this year, and also advanced to the state tournament, where they fell to eventual 3A runner-up Prairie View.
