K-State Catbacker Tour in Scott City Wednesday

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–For the first time since 2019, the K-State Catbacker Tour returned to western Kansas, as they made their way to HRC Feedyard, west of Scott City on Wednesday evening for the annual K-State Fry.
Wildcat fans had the opportunity to mingle with several athletes and coaches from the K-State Athletic Department. Around 15 student-athletes made the trip on the second day of the Catbacker Tour, including representatives from football, men’s and women’s basketball, volleyball, women’s soccer, and track & field. K-State football head coach Chris Kleiman, assistant men’s basketball coach Ulric Maligi, Athletic Director Gene Taylor, as well as women’s basketball Chief of Staff Mike Nicholson.
This year’s K-State Catbacker Tour started their day Wednesday in Hays, followed by Colby and then Scott City. The Thursday tour starts in Liberal, followed by Dodge City and wraps up in Garden City.
