Elkhart wins Holcomb Golf Invitational
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On perhaps the least windy day of the week, several schools made the trip to Buffalo Dunes for the Holcomb Invitational Golf Tournament on Monday. Elkhart would come out on top with a score of 343, 10 shots better than Cimarron, while Scott City was third.
The Wildcats were led by Joey Daugherty, who won the meet with a score of 77, five over par. He held off Tucker Metcalf by two shots, who had a round of 79 and Lakin’s Maddux Beltran was third with a score of 80.
