GWAC All-League selections announced

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–With the conclusion of the 2021-22 basketball season, the Great West Activities Conference released their all-league basketball selections for the season.

Starting with the girls, Goodland would get the most selections with four, while Cimarron, Holcomb, Hugoton and Scott City had three selections, Colby had two and Ulysses had one selection. Hugoton won the GWAC title, and Goodland was the Class 3A State Champion, while Hugoton finished as the 3A State Runner-up.

On the boys side, Holcomb would have five selections, Scott City had four picks, Colby, Goodland, Hugoton each had three picks, while Cimarron and Ulysses had one selection each. Hugoton won the GWAC title, and qualified for the Class 3A state tournament, where they fell to eventual state champion Hesston in the first round.
