Area teams in State Basketball Tournaments

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Kansas high school state basketball tournaments tip off Wednesday across seven sites in the state of Kansas. Southwest Kansas will be represented in four of the seven classifications.

Dodge City will compete in Class 6A with both their boys and girls teams, Hugoton is sending both the boys and girls in Class 3A. In Class 1A, Division I, the Hodgeman County girls, along with the Spearville girls and South Gray boys will be in the state tournament, while the Bucklin girls and boys, as well as the Greeley County boys will be at the Class 1A, Division II State Tournament in Great Bend.
