Area teams ranked in latest KBCA polls
Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Kansas Basketball Coaches Association revealed their latest rankings on Tuesday, and there is a good flavor of southwest Kansas schools ranked in their classification.
Dodge City remains ranked in both the boys and girls in Class 6A, with the girls ranked eighth and the boys are fourth. Liberal girls are 10th in 6A. In Class 3A, Hugoton remains ranked No. 1 and Cimarron is 10th, while the Holcomb boys are in the rankings at No. 8. The Elkhart girls enter the rankings at No. 9 in Class 2A. Class 1A, Division 1 has the South Gray boys ranked No. 1 and the Hodgeman County girls sitting third and in Class 1A, Division 2, Ashland’s girls are ranked seventh, while the Greeley County boys are third and Bucklin enters the rankings at No. 10.
