Area athletes selected to All-State teams

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Four southwest Kansas athletes were selected to their classifications all-state teams, as released by the Kansas Volleyball Association on Monday.

In Class 1A, Division I, Cameron Offerle and Tawney Krominga of Spearville were named first team all-state players, while South Gray’s Attison Clark was named Honorable Mention. Offerle was named the Class 1A, Division I Player of the Year, and Spearville coach Syble Thompson was named the classifications’ Coach of the Year. The Lady Lancers won their first state title in school history in October.

In Class 1A, Division II, Traci Cramer from  Dighton was named to the Honorable Mention list.
