Injury Accident in Ford County

Ford County, KS(westernkansasnews.com) A Two vehicle injury accident occurred in Ford County Saturday at 8:05 A.M. on U283 5 miles South of Dodge City.

Vehicle one was southbound, vehicle two was northbound on U283 when for an unknown reason vehicle one crossed the center line striking vehicle two’s trailer. Vehicle one then came to rest in the east ditch while vehicle two stopped under it’s own power on the shoulder.

The driver of vehicle one Sergio Virachack, 28,  of Dodge City was taken to the hospital with injuries. The driver of the semi Bryan Abbott, 50, of Minneola was not injured.
