GC Commission Discusses Budget and Possible Sales Tax

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Garden City Commission held a regular meeting today where the commission filed a notice of public hearing for July 18 for the 2018 budget.

With the notice the commission can’t adopt a budget that increases what the notice shows for property tax obligation. The 2018 budget does have an increase according to City Manager Matt Allen

The commission also discussed a possible Sales Tax according to Allen.
