Roger graduated from Kiowa High School. He was a member of the Methodist faith and in Kiowa was the church custodian. He enjoyed singing in the church choir and making sure the church was always clean. He was very proud that he always gave an offering regardless of his own financial condition. He later moved to Liberal and to Lakin in 1994. He was preceded in death by his Parents, infant Brother & Sister- Florence Cosby.
