Ignacia Ramirez-Cruz

Ignacia Ramirez-Cruz, 78, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Wichita Kansas. She was born April 15,1936 at San Bernardo, Durango, Mexico to parents Cornelio and Otilia (Medina) Ramirez. She married Gilberto Cruz on February 10,1953 at CD. Juarez, Mexico. He survives.

She was a member of  St. Mary Catholic Church.

Mrs. Cruz was born in Mexico. She and her husband moved to Leviland Texas in 1967 and later to the Garden City/Deerfield area in 1970 to raise their family. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers, which she protected with a passion. Her grandchildren were her life. Her words of encouragement instilled in them the confidence to become successful people.  

She was preceded in death by her parents- Cornelio and Otilia Ramirez, 6 infant children, 4 brothers-Pedro, Antonio, Luis, Victor, and Everisto Ramirez, and 1 sister-Rosario Ramirez.
