Holcomb, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Holcomb Police Chief Tony Forsen has resigned. The Holcomb City Council accepted his resignation Wednesday night.
Forsen resigns two months after it was revealed that he provided false information about a DUI accident he was a passenger in to Finney County officers on June 16, 2017.
According to the Garden City Telegram, the Finney County Attorney’s Office filed a misdemeanor charge of interference with a law enforcement officer against Forsen, and he ultimately reached a diversion agreement.
Forsen had been with Holcomb police since 2000 and had been chief since 2011.
