KHP Shutsdown I-70 Thursday For Natural Gasline Rupture

Salina, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Highway Patrol had to shutdown part of Interstate 70 Thursday afternoon near Salina after reports of a natural gasline
explosion. Thankfully no one was hurt and fumes from the accident reached safe levels after about two hours. The interstate was reopened around 3:30. Traffic was detoured around the scene until the all clear was given.
