Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Officials at Dodge City Community College are feeling good after getting final approval from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for a monolithic dome to serve as both a Student Activities Center and Storm Shelter.
DCCC Foundations Director Roger Proffitt says now they will step up efforts in fundraising. The good news is the center will be used for a variety of purposes.
The men’s and women’s basketball teams will also play in the new activities center. The facility must be completed by August, 2016.
