(westernkansasnews.com) Holcomb-KS–At Tuesday night’s League of Kansas Municipalities meeting a key topic was discussed about whether local elections should be moved from the spring to the fall. League Executive Director Don Moler thinks it’s a bad idea for now.
Moler believes the result would be a less informed voter casting a ballot. Moler says the switch to a fall election for local candidates would only save the state 30-thousand dollars.
