2 injured in Kearny County Crash
KEARNY COUNTY, Kan. — Two people are injured following a single-vehicle accident in Kearny County on Tuesday afternoon around 1:30 p.m.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2000 Ford Pickup truck driven by Samuel Hernandez, 61, of Garden City was westbound on U.S. 50 when his vehicle went off the roadway to the right, re-entered the roadway, went left of center, left the road again to the left overturning in the ditch.
Hernandez and his passenger, 19-year old Dominga P. Batz, of Garden City were both taken to the Kearny County Hospital with minor injuries. Hernandez was wearing his seat belt, while Batz was not.
